Legal Disclaimer
Attorney advertising, and the limits of what a free guide can do for you.
A book cannot take your case, and it cannot tell you what your claim is worth. This page sets out what this site is, what it is not, and who is responsible for it.
Attorney Advertising
This website, and the guide it distributes, are attorney advertising under the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct. They are published to inform the public and to describe the firm’s work.
Responsible attorney: Theodore A. Spaulding, admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in November 2005. Spaulding Injury Law, 50 Hurt Plaza S.E. #1536, Atlanta GA 30303.
This Is Not Legal Advice
Everything here is general information about Georgia personal injury law. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting an attorney about your own facts. No two claims are alike, and a detail that looks minor can decide a case.
Statutes, filing deadlines and court decisions change. The guide describes Georgia law as the author understood it when the guide was written, and it may not describe the law of any other state or the law as it stands today. Do not act, or decide not to act, on the strength of anything you read here without talking to a licensed attorney.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Reading this site, downloading the guide, or sending a message through a link on it does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship starts only when the firm and a client sign a written agreement and the firm confirms it has taken the case.
Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive case information through this site. Until a written agreement is in place, unsolicited information may not be treated as confidential and may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
Past Results
Past case results, including any verdicts and settlements described in the guide or on this site, do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any other matter. Every case is different and is decided on its own facts and on Georgia law. No outcome is promised or implied anywhere here.
Fees and Costs
No attorney fee unless there is a recovery. Court fees, deposition costs and trial expenses come out of a settlement or verdict; the written fee agreement a client signs with the firm sets out how they are handled.
Where the Firm Practices
Theodore A. Spaulding was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in November 2005, and is also admitted before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Nothing here is an offer to represent anyone in a state where the attorney is not licensed to practise, and nothing here should be read as soliciting work in such a state.
Contact
If you were injured and want to talk to someone about your own situation, do not rely on this page. Use the firm’s contact form, call (470) 380-0144, or write to Spaulding Injury Law, 50 Hurt Plaza S.E. #1536, Atlanta GA 30303.
