Privacy Policy

What this site collects, why it collects it, who sees it, and how to switch it off.

This site does one thing: it publishes “The Atlanta Car Accident Claim Handbook” and lets anyone download it. There is no form, no email gate and no account, so the site has very little about you to hold. Here is all of it.

Data Collected

Three things, and nothing more.

  • Server and delivery logs. Like any web server, the host that serves this site records each request: the IP address it came from, the browser and device string, the page or file asked for, the referring URL, and the time. Downloading the PDF is one of those requests.
  • A reading preference kept in your browser. The chapter pages remember whether you chose the light or the dark reading theme. That value is stored in your own browser on your own device. It is never sent to the firm.
  • Anything you type into the feedback widget. Every page loads Marker.io, the review tool the site’s builders use to log bugs. It sends nothing on its own. If you open it and submit a report, what you wrote, plus your browser, screen size and the page you were on, goes to Marker.io.

There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no retargeting script on this site. There is also no mailing list, no signup and no follow-up sequence, because the site never asks for your email address. The guide is a plain download link.

How We Use It

  • Logs keep the site up: serving pages and the PDF, diagnosing errors, and defending against abuse. In aggregate they show how often the guide is downloaded.
  • The reading preference is used for one thing, which is rendering the theme you picked.
  • Feedback reports are used to fix the problem you reported.

None of it is sold, rented or traded, and none of it is used to build an advertising profile of you or to target you with ads.

Who It Is Shared With

Two service providers, because they run the site:

  • The hosting platform that serves the pages and the PDF file, which holds the request logs described above.
  • Marker.io, which receives a feedback report only if you choose to submit one.

Beyond those, information is disclosed only where the law requires it, such as valid legal process. This site links out to the firm’s own website, to courts and statutes, and to other third parties. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy, and this policy no longer applies.

How to Opt Out

There is nothing here to opt into, so opting out is short.

  • Read and download the guide without giving anything up. That is the default and the only mode: no form, no email gate, no account.
  • Block the feedback widget with any content blocker, or simply never open it. If you do not submit a report, it sends nothing.
  • Clear the stored reading preference by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings.
  • Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals have nothing to switch off here, because the site loads no advertising or analytics trackers in the first place.
  • Ask for deletion. Write to the address below and the firm will ask its hosting provider to purge the log entries it can identify as yours, to the extent the provider still holds them.

Children

The guide is written for adults dealing with a car accident claim. The site is not directed at children, and the firm does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If the site starts collecting something it does not collect today, such as an analytics tag or a form, this page is updated before that happens rather than after.
